PRESS RELEASE: Nico Vega Launches New Single “I Believe” Kicks Off Tour with Imagine Dragons

NicoVega_IBelieveNew York, NY – Valentines Day 2014 will be a busy one for NICO VEGA. The trio will be kicking off their tour supporting Grammy Award Winners Imagine Dragons in Los Angeles as well as releasing their new single, “I Believe,” online. The track is co-written and produced by Dan Reynolds, lead vocalist of Imagine Dragons and is featured on Nico Vega’s forthcoming album Lead To Light due out this Spring on Five Seven Music. “I Believe” will be available for purchase on February 25th via all of your favorite online retailers and a music video will be available shortly thereafter.

Nico Vega has had quite a lot of spectacular happenings in the past year: the song “Beast” was featured in BioShock Infinite’s commercials and consequently went on to gather over 5 million in streams and single sales. A&E Networks chose the band to exclusively record the theme song for Bonnie & Clyde miniseries; a cover of Cher’s “Bang Bang.” The release of Nico Vega’s last EP Fury Oh Fury (on which “Beast” is featured) impressed critics and received placements in Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Filter, Vice, Nylon, LA Weekly and much more. Some of the critic’s first impressions include Entertainment Weekly describing the music as “streamlined, cinematic pop production” with LA Weekly calling it “accessible songcraft in sonically unorthodox fashion.”

With their upcoming album on the horizon and the very first taste of new music available this Valentines Day, expect much more Nico Vega to come.

Nico Vega to get “Juicy” with Locals

Nico Vega To Get “Juicy” With Locals On Headlining Tour
Tour Kicks Off Today July 11th in San Diego, CA

New York, NY – Nico Vega, the breakout band of 2013 as dubbed by Amazon, kicks off their co-headlining tour today in San Diego, CA. On select dates, the band will make a stop at a partnering local juice bar to offer up free samples of their “Beast Juice.” The juice, which was named after Nico Vega’s breakout single, consists of beets, spinach, kale, carrots, apples, pineapple, mint and ginger. Each of the juice bars will also be offering up a free pair of tickets to the band’s show later that night.

The band are fresh off a support slot on the sold out Imagine Dragons tour, with the upcoming dates allowing for a more intimate performance. Earlier this year, Nico Vega released their new EP, Fury Oh Fury (Five Seven Music), which features the unexpected hit, “Beast.” The anthemic song was featured in the trailer for the most highly anticipated video game of the year, BioShock Infinite and went on to top Spotify’s viral charts and Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart. The press took notice and lavished their praise with Billboard describing it as a “…grungy breakout single…whips up ear-blistering riffs and presents pounding tom-toms” and NYLON saying “The LA rocking band mean business…” The official video for the song can be viewed here.

The below markets will include a stop at the indicated juice bar. Be sure to check out each juice bar’s social media for the time the band will be there as well as a chance to win a pair of tickets to that show!
